can be taught accurate shooting. But, if you carry a weapon, you better practice drawing from concealment (from every possible body position) as if your life depended on it.

I am convinced that practice is what saved my wife in 2003.

This guy did a lot of practice too.

Never mind the bear. I'm curious about what happened in 2003.
We had practiced drawing from concealment and drawing from unconventional positions....seated, on your back, etc.

Anyway; Daylight, early afternoon. She was with our 4 year old boy and was coming out of a doctor's office. She saw a shadow move towards her and moved her strong hand towards her gun (Baby Eagle).

Dude, about 6'3", 200lbs, knocked her to the ground. By this time she was starting the draw. While on the ground, she pointed it at his chest and told him to leave her alone (GTFOH was what she said). He ran.

Cops arrested him for strike two of three.

Glad she was ok and things worked out.
I know she probably does not want to kill anyone, but I bet that dude is on strike 6 to 12 by now. Would of done everyone a favor by getting rid of anyone attacking a women with a young child.
