This Florida largemouth bottomed out my 7 pound scale. Doesn't look that big because I am not hyperextending my arms out towards camera! Making sure it all got in pic...self timer on tripod

Been there, done dat. Haven't fished since about 2016.

Any photos of my 'rigs' are all unscanned slides or on a broke 'puter. Started with a 12' Mirrorcraft w/5HP in the 1960s, then circa 1970 a Starcraft Explorer w/40HP Evinrude, then in 1976 an 18' fiberglass Ranger 375V Apache w/90HP Merc, then circa 1986 a Coleman Scanoe w/5HP, then in 1994 a 17' aluminum 175V Ranger w/90HP Merc, and lastly... a float tube w/2FP (foot power) fins.

Smallies are our favorite.

We do some pond (15ish acres) fishing around home for largemouth too though.

I am looking at a little flat back canoe or something along those lines since I’m moving about a mile from Blunn res and I hear they have a good smallie population too. I have smallies dialed decently well at chatfield and the top water bite is a kick in the pants

I owned a Coleman Scanoe for many years. It did quite well on the smaller lakes with a 5 hp. or an electric on it. It's actually fairly stable where a person can stand in it.

I don't consider myself a hard core bass fisherman but have spent a significant about of time and money on it. Below is a picture of a double my brother and I hooked into a couple months ago. The bigger one goes 10.7lbs and the smaller one he caught went 5lbs. I also caught 2 others over 7lbs that day.
