Hey Ya'all,
As I'm sure you'll notice, I am a brand new poster here on MM. I've enjoyed everyone's pictures and comments, and today I just want to ask for a little help:
I'm wondering what works best for touching up some 1 year old deer antlers - they're sun bleached and have some hairline cracks in a few places. I've tried stain & shoe polish on some test horns, but both of those really make the cracks stand out. Wood glue fills the cracks well, but it repels both the stain and shoe polish when I try to apply some color.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!
