antelope taxidermy question

I have a B&C anteolpe mounted on my wall that I am not happy with. I'm determined to have it fixed. I'm headed to WY in a week to hopefully shoot another antelope. I want to take the cape off this antelope and have it remounted on the B&C horns. But will the cape fit? The bases on the bad mount are huge. If I shoot a smaller antelope this year, can his cape still be made to fit the existing horns on the bad mount?

Can a good taxidermist manipulate or stretch the cape to fit the existing B&C horns?

Yes. It's and easy fix. As long as you shoot a mature buck with a decent size head and neck, so it won't look out of proportion, getting around heavier horns is no problem.
