Antelope Tag Options?

LAST EDITED ON Jul-06-16 AT 09:13AM (MST)[p]My girlfriend really wants to hunt antelope and she didn't draw in Nevada this year. Are there any reasonably priced DIY hunts that I can still purchase in Wyoming? We are not looking for a trophy area although I realize that a great buck can come from any area. I'm aware that there are leftover tags, but all the areas with tags left have difficult access and I don't have access to any private property in Wyoming. Thank you so much in advance.

I have no idea what you mean by a reasonably priced DIY hunt! A DIY hunt costs the price of a license & Conservation Stamp. The rest of the coast is whether you want to camp or stay in a motel from low priced to expensive, how far you're driving for the cost of gas, etc. As you mentioned, most of the leftover tags that go on sale this AM for bucks and next week for does have limited access to public land, but if you do your homework a DIY hunt is more than doable with the proper maps and a GPS with landowner chip.

You're really a day late and a dollar short, as the leftover buck tags went on sale 3 hours ago and the units I would have told you to look at are gone already. Now about all you'll have in areas like you mentioned are doe tags that go on sale next week.
