im already inquiring about next year... i would like to hear from folks that have hunted antelope in wyoming on what they feel would be the best place to go without any pref. points to have a good time, and not have a fear of getting shot by the masses.. have no problem walking in somewhere.. or a poss. tresspass fee.. just would like a fun experience, trophy not important.
i'll be buying a pref. point but wouldn't mind holding on to those i would accumulate on a harder hunt down the road..

i live in northern idaho, so if anybody needs some input of this area feel free to ask.

I have hunted Wyoming antelope several times.I hunt primarily public land in units 47,32,106 ,26,and 67. Unit 26 has only a small part of public land ,but always has leftover licenses. My favorite unit is 47.I do not hunt the season opener, but instead go towards the end of the season.i very seldom ever see any other hunters and always see lots of animals.I have shot so many buck antelope that I now usually only hunt for does on a combination hunt for deer or elk.The weather is cooler in late October and makes for better hunting. The opening day can be very warm ,one time I hunted early, it was over 90 degrees and that is when I started hunting late season.I usually combign it into a Colorado deer and elk hunt.Being from Michigan I make the 1600 mile trip I want to hunt all I can while in the west.
