Antelope & Coyotes

I have two questions hopefully someone can help with. Presently I am sitting on 13 points for antelope and elk and would like to start scouting for antelope. I should be able to draw a tag for units 71 Juniper or 70 Beatys Butte two years from now. Which unit and area would be best to concentrate on? Since I spend a week camping west of Bend each year I will have time to check out areas on the way up or back.

Question 2 has to do with coyotes. Would anyone be willing to share any information on areas between Bend and Sisters to hunt coyotes in July?

Why wait two years to hunt antelope? You could draw Steens or Whitehorse easily with what you have and they are both as good or better than the two you listed. Both of these units are not west of Bend though.

On coyotes, anything around the Bend area probably get hammered so hunting them would be tough. I'd look at more remote areas such as the the four units in the SE part of Oregon.

I would say that since you have waited 13 years, two more is nothing.

I'd look at Warner first season as well. Its a tip top hunt as well.
