Antelope Area 7 Help

Me, my oldest son, my brother in law and his oldest son all drew area 7 tags. Looking at the map it looks like there is a lot of the Thunder Basin Grasslands in that hunt area and I do have information form another member here that public land access is good enough for enjoy a good hunt. We will be staying in Newcastle and hunting October 10th through the 15th. I know the antelope will have been hammered by then but we choose the last part of the season hoping for less crowded hunting areas. Anyone point me in the right direction to start our hunt. This will be our first Antelope hunt and the first time my brother in law and his son have ever hunted in Wyoming. We're looking for an average buck and a good time. We will probably buy a doe tag each if there are any left by the time we arrive. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Terry you can get a doe tag from one of the stores in the unit by mail if you look them up on the list that the G&F puts on the website. There will be a phone number on there and for a small fee you can get the doe/fawn tag in advance from the ones that sell over the phone. Right now there is more green grass in NE WY than I have seen since I found out where to look on the internet .

Take some mosquito spray with you! WOW they are thick. Let us know how the trip went. I saw plenty over where I went just could not connect with the bow.
