Another Draw Question

The more I read about the draw, the more confused I get.

Say I have 1PP and apply in the PP draw. I don't get my first choice. I know you only lose your PP if you draw your first choice. Let's say my 2nd choice pick has 10 PP tags and only 2 people had it as first choice. Do the other 8 tags stay in the PP draw - meaning if I have it as my 2nd choice and have 1 point, will I get that over everyone with no points. Or do those tags just go into the random draw after the first choice for those with PP's are made?

They go into the random draw, and those with that hunt listed as a first choice are drawn first.
