Need a quiver for my new reflex timberwolf. Thinking of alpine soft loc 5 arrow quiver. Looking for ratings. Thanks.

I have one on my bow. I like it so far, but haven't tried it out in cold weather yet. I take my quiver off when I shoot and when I hunt. I like the locking system, easy off and on. But like I said, I haven't tried it out in the cold, I'm a little worried the rubber will get too stiff in the really cold stuff.
So far I give it a 8 out of 10 for a rating, I never give anything a 10, nothing is perfect.
Good luck.

I have one and have had no problems with it. I think that it is one of the better quivers out there. Very durable too.

Take a look at the fuse quiver systems have one on my switchback and love it. they have a pretty cool quick loc system

Works great and I would highly recommend it. Easy on and off for sure.

I'd give it a 9.89 only because I paid about $10 too much for it. Saw it in a different shop a couple weeks later for $34.99. Otherwise I would give it a perfect 10.

I've got one on my Alpine Sidewinder. For the most part it's pretty good. One draw back is the distance from the "broadhead cup" to the "shaft holder" is fairly short which provides the fletching end of arrows to vibrate upon release. Hopefully Alpine will read this also and make their quivers alittle longer.

Like the previous comments...the ease of on and off makes it nice to use.

I have one on my Matthews Outback and I like the setup. You have to be careful when you are in the woods, because it will catch and come loose or partially loose. It it falls off, then your in big trouble! If it comes partially off it can change the dynamics of your bow when you shoot (increased noise, vibration, balance, etc). I would make them harder to get on and off to eliminate this problem. Overall, I like the quiver.

I also have one. It is great in the yard for shooting, I do like the ease of getting it on and off. It seems to aid in dampening the force of the shot from the bow also. I hadn't thought of it catching something in the woods and having it come part way or all the way off so I'll have to watch for that. It'll be in the woods for the first time this September.

Good Luck!

Last elk season I had a little fun with my hunting partner. His did fall off when he took a tumble. He didn't notice so I hooked it to my fanny pack and waited until we had been hiking for about 20 minutes before I asked him where his quiver was. That was about 500 vertical feet later. He was one unhappy camper before I pulled it out from behind my back.
