Me and a friend went out today, and found 19 sheds. We didn't get out until about 10:00. 10 of the sheds were in a one hour time period. We just happened into a sweet spot. here are a few pics from the day. I found two match sets, and a sweet 77" brown four.

sweet! Does that pole help to hike with? I've been considering one. Going down the steep stuff hurts my knees after several hours of it.

I'm not the one with the horns, but I can tell you, "Yes" the pole helps a lot! I've been hunting with the two legged Polecat shooting sticks for quite a few years now. I use it for a walking stick almost all the time. It gives you that third leg for balance and, at least for me it saves a bunch of energy in making balance much easier to keep. It's also ready to use when its time to make that shot. I use a single pole Polecat just for hiking. If you don't want to spend the bucks for one that telescopes down, you can just go to a yard sale or DI and pick up a ski pole or two.

I got those telescoping hiking poles at walmart for $20 bucks. I love them. I have a buddy that makes fun of me for using them, but you can laugh if you want, they save my legs. I really prefer to use two poles. They save my knees on the downhill, and save my quads on the uphill. When i hunt the sage flats, I just keep them attached to my pack, and then pull them out when I hit the steep stuff.

great job your killing it i wish that i was finding bone around here like that the only place i do any good at is closed till may 1st :(

Congrats on all of the finds, my favorite picture is the one with the set and the dead head.
