Thought I would share a few shed photos I've taken so far this spring. I've had problems posting anything lately so I've gotten a little behind. Hope you enjoy.

awesome!!!

I was just about ready to ask and see if anyone had heard from you because your sheds and pics are usually some of the best and you have proved it ounce again. So did you get to keep any of those?

I must say that shed in the river is a one of a kind picture!

GREAT PICTURES!!!
Those are fantastic, you got some dandy finds.
Thanks for posting and keep-m-coming.

About time you made an appearance here, was wondering what happened to you. Great photos as always, top of the line shots!!

WOW! Did you take your boots off and your wallet out of your pocket before you jumped in to save that drowning antler! I don't know what I would have done seeing such a catastrophe. Probably would have had wet boots I bet! :)

Very cool pictures. The one in the water sure gives me mixed emotions. Neat looking but a sort of panicked feeling too!

Thanks,

NvrEnuf

Come on Nvr, think about it. He's a cowboy. He's got a horse, and probably a rope. He ain't gonna go get his feet wet. :) He'll either rope it and drag it out or ride out and lean over and grab it.

Those are some sweet shots Rod. Welcome back off the range and thanks for sharing. That shot of the horse in the snow with the two white tips sticking out was my favorite. River shot a close second. All of em pretty awesome.

WOW!!
Just noticed the elk in the background in the 14 picture.

I bet on horseback they dont spook as bad.

awsome shots and some good horses....also just noticed the second shed on pic 8 on the upper left corner.....man you just made my day at work...thanks and keep them comin

Fantastic pictures !!!
#1. the horse w/ tines sticking out of the snow
#2. the elk herd in the background of the shed
#3. the antler in the river
I simply love those three shots the best, but, they're all super!!
Thanks!!!

My compliments.

Cool....but did you find any big ones!? Just joking, those have got to be the best as they lay pic's i've seen yet. The shed in that ice cold looking water gets my vote as well. Hope you send more our way in the near future.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. Neat pictures and way cool country. I really like the picture of the antler in the river.

Oh my lord those are some killer pics Rod!! Thanks, I always enjoy your scenic antler pics. You aught to do a book someday of all those pics you take, I'd buy it!

Great pics. I have been waiting for you to post more. This next shed season, I should have some hoofs and horns pics of my own. I recently bought my horse and am getting him in shape . He doesn't have the muscle mass that your horse has, but he has a good frame to build on. He has been a lesson horse, so he lacks what is desireable in hind quarters, but he is coming along just fine. Can't wait to get to the high country this year. Muledeernut

luv the water shot!!!!

traks...those are Park elk...abit different from your everyday elk

Wow, I've been waiting for Rod to post pictures for forever and a day! Finally... What a great buch of pictures, some of the others ofn here have picked their favorites, I can't they are all so good. I can look at Rod's pictures over and over, there are a lot of great pictures posted on this site, but I think, and a lot of others would agree, that his are very high on the list of the best ones, if not the best. I really like the one with the closeup of the elk burr right next to the crocus though, it's a great picture for spring.

These are terrific photos.

What a life. Love to explore by horseback and take photos of sheds.

I grew up around horses, but don't currently own any.

Until seeing your posting with photos... I'm ready to get back on the saddle.

Hoofsandhorns.... Keep doing what your doing, thank you for posting all the photos you do. I hope you realize the impact it has on people like me. I can only daydream of your lifestyle and hope that someday, I'm going to live the same dream you are.

Seriously, Thank you for posting your photos. It only obvious that your passionate about sheds and getting out into the woods.

Some of my fondest memories in high school were hunting by horseback for a week. Bushwacking by horseback is awesome. Like someone else said... It does seem to be less spooky for the big game when a horse is approaching.
