I have not posted any thing for a long time but since I enjoy everyone else's pictures so much I thought I should try and share a few of my own. The picture of my son holding the large muley shed is his largest to date, we couldn't find the other side so I went out after work one night and was lucky enough to find the other side. All the other photos are of some the sheds we have found or wildlife we have seen. I did have to include one of last years photos of my daughter just to keep the peace . Hope you enjoy.

Snakes are protected species in Alberta. I have seen a half a dozen so far but no rattlers. The biggest was just over 6 ft.and the smallest was a little 2 ft.hog nose. They don't bother me at all but I do have buddies that won't go shed hunting in these areas after the middle of april because of these little guys.

Hey- great pictures. Now,what is the reasoning for rattlesnakes being protected in Alberta? Down here in Wyoming they are protected as long as they stay the hell away from me.

Great photos! I let every snake live unless it's a rattler, then they die. Last summer a good friend of mine, boy was bitten by 2 rattlers at the same time and one was a baby. Close call for a few days but God is gracious and spared him.

Great pics. Thanks for sharing. It's great to see your family involved. That double drop buck is cool. Hope you get a chance at him this fall. Where are you in Alberta?

Thanks. I live in Medicine Hat. My son really enjoy shed hunting well my daughter goes along once and a while she is just not as keen. I find some sheds around the Hat but most of them come from the Red Deer river basin. The double drop set of sheds I am getting mounted on head for my sons birthday I will post another picture of them when they are completed. Thanks again.
