Alberta Poisoning Wolves

Interesting read. The use of strychnine has helped stabilize the local caribou herds. I'm surprised that trappers and outfitters would be against the limited practice of using strychnine to control wolf numbers.

This doesn't surprise me. In order to keep them under control you have to kill 65% of the population per yr because they reproduce so fast. Selling tags isn't gonna do it.
