air-rest arrow rest

I saw this in the latest Petersens Bowhunting. It uses magnets for the arrow to levitate, completely surrounds the arrow like a WB. It says it will levitate any type of arrow at full draw and eliminates all friction.
I am of the opinion that its a little gimmicky but want to know if anyone has seen it or used it. The concept is certainly unique. But I am imagining that arrow being held up by magnetic force and trembling just before release, then your accuracy is toast.
What does everyone else think?

From what I have read, you are correct in thinking the arrow "wobbles" slightly, but most of the time it takes an archer a few seconds to settle the pins, which should give the arrow time to settle also. If you are shaky before the shot, your accuracy might suffer no matter what rest you have.
I'm not sure I am ready to accept this thing yet........but I am watching to see how it plays out with others.

What bothers me about this rest is that you have to add the special inserts to all the arrows you are going to shoot. So if you run out on a hunt you can bum some from your buddy. The inserts are not that cheap either.

I don't think you'd have a problem with accuracy with this rest. Their website had a video of the rest last time I checked. Seemed to work pretty good.

I have actually been in the process of designing a rest such as this and I am forked that this came out. Must not have been as unique as I had thought. The way we had it set up there was wobble when at full draw, but it settled with the archer. I am still working on it regardless.

The inserts weigh 50 grains vs. about 20 that most of us are accustomed to.
