The Obama Administration unveiled a revamped rescue package to insurance giant American International Group and will provide the troubled company another $30 billion on an "as needed" basis. This on top of the $150 Billion the company has already burned through without setting the company right. True to Obama's socialist nature, instead of repaying the American taxpayers with interest, the government will take an equity stake in the beleaguered, floundering company! They should rename the company Obama International Group.

Does this concern any of you?

Now GM is heading back to the trough for another bail out. I say let them go under.

UPDATE: American International Group Inc., once the world's largest insurer, said today (Monday) it lost $61.7 billion in the fourth fourth, the biggest quarterly loss in U.S. corporate history!

Who was it again that started the bailouts?

At this point I think we may as well accept we're in a long depression and let the chips fall.

Number one just because some moron jumps off a bridge and kills him self does not mean you have too as well. Sure bush stamped TARP1. But it was a temporary measure. What the Messiah is doing is PERMANENT!

So Bush spent a trillion bucks on a lark?

Some of the smartest minds in the finacial world say Bush and Obama had no choice, we would have imploded without it. I'm not sure about that myself, but I am sure none of us are the smartest minds.

Once again, what's your plan?

These quote "TOO BIG TO FAIL" outfits are simply black holes they need to attach a new moniker to them as they are "TOO BIG TO MANAGE" just like our government.

"Once again, what's your plan?"

Let them fail. Let them go under. It is simple. Same with GM. Let them go under it is better for us long term. By taking these companies over we are doing nothing more than prolonging the hurt.

That a rosy picture, I'm convinced, I'm gonna rush right out and get me some AIG insurance. not
