Do you process your own meat or use a shop?This year I plan on doing my own right on the spot.I did this last year.I take my small freezer and vaccum packer with me and have a small generator. A couple of hours and it is done .
 
I do the exact same thing as you, except I have a friend that has a freezer at his home in Wyoming, so I just take the frozen packages home in a couple coolers with some dry ice in each if the weather is warm heading east. Some years when the trip home is cold enough, dry ice isn't needed.
