Advice for great hunt

We are about a month away from the antlerless application period in Utah. Although this years guidebook isn't out yet, I want to begin researching to find my 15 year old son a GREAT opportunity to harvest his first big game animal. He has 3 antlerless points going into this years draw and a cow elk is on his mind.

I'm interested in hearing advice about CWMU units. Is there any units you could suggest based off your experiences?

Thanks for anyone offering advice. Feel free to send me a PM.

Theodore Roosevelt's guidance concerning

"We do not intend that our natural resources shall
be exploited by the few against the interests of the
majority. Our aim is to preserve our natural
resources for the public as a whole, for the
average man and the average woman who make
up the body of the American people."

"It is in our power...to preserve game..and to give
reasonable opportunities for the exercise of the
skill of the hunter, whether he is or is not a man of
means."

thanks for the PM dz. I'll give it some thought. Sounds fun.

I live in Roy, Utah. I've contacted the operator of Coldwater Ranch and Skull Crack. I enjoyed my conversation with Clint at Skull Crack.
I'm still considering other CWMU's and haven't decided yet. Thank you to the few who have sent PM's offering information. Any and all information is helpful.

Still taking suggestions.

Please share your experiences.

Thanks
