I've heard it Argued many a times:

On a Muzzleloader?

If the Ramrod sticks out past the end of the Barrel let's say 4 to 6 inches?

Will it effect the Accuracy/the way the Gun Shoots?

Looking for the Truth!

And maybe some Lies!:D

Thanks!

I used to know of places worth Hiking in to for Elk & Deer!
Thanks to Illegal Bastards & the USFS not enforcing Rules you can Zing in to them Places on Wheelers now & not see a Damn thing!
But by GAWD it don't take long for them U-Tards to get there with all the Unethical BS and the New Technology!

I broke my original and had to use the back up which is 6 inches long past the barrel. It seems to shoot the same?

It will slightly affect the harmonics of the barrel, but not enough to cause any noticeable change in accuracy.

>My ram rod sticks out 8
>inches... I find a hole-in-one
>easy!

Yep, you and Audrey certainly found that out, LOL!

I usually pull the ramrod OUT of the barrel before I shoot.

Harmonic what????

I have a friend that forgot to take the ramrod out of the barrel, after he loaded to shoot. It was pretty amazing! He survived, the gun survived, but he never did find the ramrod.
