Anyone have a chance to hear cuts off the new albums? This is the music i grew up with so its nice to hear some new stuff. i really liked most of the AC/DC songs, wasn't to impressed with the new Guns stuff. A bit of a let down after the long wait.

I give credit to AC/DC for sticking with what made them famous: simple, loud rock and roll. I'm not a big fan of their stuff; but I give them credit for consistency.

I haven't heard anything off the GNR. Are we talking Chinese Democracy?

I haven't heard any of the new stuff from either band yet. I saw a review of the new G&R stuff, and the guy said that it was actually pretty good... I'll be curious to hear it. Nothin' like that old Appetite for Destruction stuff I'll be though!!! ;-)

Yep after a 14 year wait Chinese Democracy is finally out to limited audiences! Title cut is kind of catchy. Has sort of a Marilyn Manson / Alice Cooper feel to it. didnt care as much for the others i heard but only listened to them once. Nothing like Appetite but that was a classic! AC/DC album rocks! Stuck with the same kind of sound that made them who they are.

Axl Rose is the only original...correct? Slash and Duff are still with VR? I am a litttle behind...but back in the day
G-N-R was my favorite.

I love the new AC/DC train song, it's as good as any of the old stuff!
New Metallica sounds good too, just like the old stuff as well!

The 80's will NEVER die!!!!!! ;-)

Breeder Buck, I pretty much agree. Back in Jr High and High school my room was nothing but crue. I think I would probably rate Tesla at the top though. I saw Tesla again this spring in Reno when I was at the NABA show. They played at the Casino they broke up in years ago. Man was that great.

Going to see AC/DC the end of this month in Denver. The concert I have always wanted to see since I was a kid. Paid a mint for the tix, but still tickled pink about it. GNR was one of the most awesome ever though. I think GnR Lies may be their best, but Appetite was and still is one of my favorites in the old CD changer in the pickup
