Back in the late 50's dad came home after doing 4 years in the Sea Bees and went back to logging with my Grandad and 2 brothers...Dad said all the safety precautions this one was strictly enforced..Grandad is fueling up a bulldozer at the end of the workday and smoking a cigarette hanging out the corner of his mouth and dad freaks out..put that cigarette out! you trying to blow us up???
Grandad all cool and calm takes the butt and rubs it out on the fuel tank... , and tells my Dad...There-- didn't blow us up--teach you kids everything I know and now you think you know more than me...My Grandad was a classic..glad to have been able to enjoy time with him till I was 22 years old..
