I watched this a week ago, but I had to watch it again because the message touched me deep down.

Having had the unfortunate task of making way to many death notifications over the years is something that is hard for a person to deal with. Knocking on a parents door the day before Christmas and having to explain to them that their child is no longer with them due to a avalanche or car accident are memories that I wish I could block out of my mind forever.

This Troopers poetry gives me hope that sometimes things work out for a reason.
 
Made that knock more times than I care to remember. The problem is you never forget.......any of them.
