What if we put yellowstone NP elk and Moose on the endangered species list? Maybe Idaho's also, then the fed's would have to protect them and have to remove some/most of the predators to protect the herd.

Think we could use the ESL against the Fed's?

Yeah except then with the recent ruling, the anti's would push to take all elk hunting away from us in every state.
On second thought maybe that is their plan. If a species is endangered in one area they are endangered in every state (recent wolf) ruling.

Fight fire with fire eh..??? It sounds good at first, but the more you think about it, the less sense it makes. It would absolutely work as a catalyst to ban hunting the animals in ANY area. The fight is against the wolves and their protection. Our time, efforts, and money are best used there...
