Any of you ever Find a Chunk of money & End up with BAD Luck?

I've never found enough to get me in Trouble I Guess?

I Don't watch much TV but I did see Parts/Most of the Show: 'A Simple Plan'

I Know,it's several years old!

But I kinda thought that's about the kinda Luck I'd Have if it ever happened!

Who's seen it?

And who hasn't?

Nope, never had bad or good luck. I guess it depends on what is a chunk of money.

Several years ago I was a college kid. Went elk hunting at my favorite spot, and happened upon a gut pile. And a wallet with 600 bucks in it. Lotsa money for me.

It also had a Michigan drivers license, forget the guys name.

Anyway a couple days later I was headed to town to grab a burger and some beer and ran across this truck with Michigan plates. Asked him if he lnew a guy named XXX and he said that's me.

I handed him his wallet and he counted the money. Not a big deal to me.

Every time(Well Almost!)I've found a Wallet/Purse somebody has already Ransacked it before me finding it & took all the money out of them!

Just alot of bad luck when finding Wallets & Purses!

So,Hopefully I never find a Big Duffle Bag Full of Money!

I would not have done what they did. Argue about it right there. Someone might come by.

I would have packed the money down the mountain away from the plane out of sight, then figured it out.

Bess i looked for the movie on u-tube but it's listed as one of those a guy has to pay to see. no dice.

I did see the clip though and a interesting dilemma is presented. There's more honest people out there than me who would no doubt take the cash!

Hey Bess , one time my grandpa took me catfishin down at the old center street park in provo. In the late 70's I think it was.., anyway it was before the ice skating ring where the State park is now, anyway. As we drove in i saw a wallet in the road, had my Grandpa stop and i grabbed it. All the guys info and cards were inside and 4 $100 dollar bills. We went home to my grandpaws and called the guys house ( I remember a card that said something like this is the property of so and so at and his phone number and address).. So we phoned and this guys wife answered the phone, we told her we found his wallet with a lot of cash in it. She said He had left to buy a boat, from a guy in Provo,and had not returned. She would tell him we had his wallet when he got home. About 2 hrs later she called my grandpa and double checked his address and said her husband was on his way. When the guy showed up we were all sitting outside in lawn chairs and watched him drive down the farm road, he parked on my grandpa,s lawn and walked over to us, I held out my hand with the wallet and he swiped it out of my hand jerked it open and counted his money. Said Ya its mine, walked to his car and left. Noy even a thanks....

I Hate Finding Wallets & Purses!

I usually find them after somebody else has Ransacked them,took all the Money & I get My Ass Chewed by the Owner when returning them!

The Last Wallet I Found was a few years ago as I was Cruising down Highway 40!

Blew by the Wallet Thinking

o I even wanna go see if it was really a Wallet?

Sure enough!

I even know the Guy!

Not one DAMN Dollar in it!

I'm Thinking:Here We go again,I'm Thinking somebody else already Found it,took the Money and threw it out!

So I call the Guy,before even telling him who I was,told him I found it on the Highway & I'm probably the 2nd Finder!

He says:I Just want my Wallet back & He was Happy I Found it!

So then I Break the News to Him there isn't any Money in it & it Wasn't Me that took the Money!

He Started Laughing!

He says:Man you don't know my Wife very well do you?

Then He said She doesn't let Him carry any Cash in His Wallet,Not even a Dollar!

I'm Thinking:JFP,She controls what's in His Wallet?

So Then,Jokingly,I ask Him if I ever Find His Wife if He'd like me to Return Her to the Owner?

He Started LHAO!

And then Asks:Who the Hell is this?

Got His Wallet back to Him!
