you are "killing" me! I wish that I had your time, I would be hitting it each and everyday along with you. How many total brown elk have you collected? By the way what state are in?

WHOOHOOO! Littlefoot finally found a muley shed! Way to get in the game! With all the elk sheds you find and the ease with which you seem to do it makes me think that you should only count the deer sheds you find - after all, it's not like you have a hard time with the elk! YOU ROCK! Nice pics and awesome sheds. That is a dandy matched 6! That would make a beautiful mount with a good looking cape! KEEP IT UP!

WOW- You sure find some incredible sheds.
If I found that many my significant other would kill me since I keep all I find.
Do you sell them for hunting money or do you have a barn made of elk antlers?
Envious for sure.
Best,
Jerry

most kind words from all of you...thank you. i know that you already 'know' why i go...for them that can't...nuff said...
roy...i know you weren't being offensive, and i surely did not take it that way, but trust me...there is very little 'ease' with which i find these sheds...the trick is, ya gotta go, then go some more, then keep going....i will admit to one 'easy' one this year....it was laying beside the 'road', on may way in....
knack....i would never sell....give away, surely, but not sell...these 'belonged' to my 'friends', be like selling my soul...by the way, the garage addition starts this week...

Littlefoot - I know it ain't easy - you just make it look that way! ;-) Also it's a lot easier for you than for me because I'm in Texas and you are blessed to be in one of the most beautiful areas on the face of the earth. Bottom line is you are great at it! I appreciate your attitude too. You spend a lot of time with these big boys and make the endless off season days go by a lot more quickly for the rest of us. That kind of respect and admiration is something to be emulated. My brother is the same way - he keeps all his finds for collection purposes and personal enjoyment. The barn is full of them but he can tell you about every single shed, where he found them and whether or not he "knew" the bull or buck beforehand. Plus I think you have some serious skills with a camera. I am serious about hiring you to come and photograph my Utah LE Elk hunt - when and if I ever draw!

Say hello to all your "friends" for me - stuck here in Central Texas where the bugle of the elk is as distant to me as the Sea of Tranquility is to Jim Lovell. I don't know if I'll ever get back!

Nice goin' LF. That is a huge set, you got there - young Littlefoot should be feelin' the heat now. I really like that elk shed you found on Saturday, the mass on the 4th is amazing. Hey, congrats on the mule deer find too.
