LAST EDITED ON Dec-02-06 AT 05:06PM (MST)[p]I've enjoyed this site for a few year, but somehow I lost my password and couldn't post on my last user name. So I registered again. Seeing all these shed photos I thought I would share some photos with you guys. This isn't my whole collection, but it is a good amount of it. There are a few mulie sheds thoughout it and also a locked set of mulies in one of the photos.

Dang.... what state do you live in? I notice all whitetail mounts. You do not hunt mulies? Did you take the speed goats in your state? Nice collection of mounts. Bow or gun? Thanks.

I live in Iowa, the 3 bucks on one wall are gun kills. The bucks on the same wall with the speed goats are all video bow kills, but the last one (Big 8). That was my late Fathers last shotgun harvest.

The far goat is from Wyoming and the 16" goat is from South Dakota. I've hunted Mule deer one time in Wyoming, but didn't see anything I thought was worth shooting. I'd love to go again sometime.

Brandon,

That's a replica of Elvis. I'm not sure what it scores. The big mule deer shed next to it scores 111+ with a bunch chewed and broken off.

WHOA!!! Very nice collection, Thanks for sharing,
Damn if I had a collection like that it would probly wind up in the backyard the first time my wife had to clean the room,LOL

A few more photos from last spring. My girlfriend and I found the drop tine bucks sheds from the year before and then found him dead a week or so later. Top photo is a shed I found in Canada this past spring 86 3/8".

Geeze! That's some sweet collection. Where do you find whities, corn fields or just where ever? I've never hunted white tail sheds.

LAST EDITED ON Dec-06-06 AT 05:28PM (MST)[p]Rus we find them everywhere. We focus mainly on food sources early in the season and then spread out more toward bedding areas and open fields as the season goes by. Those sheds off the drop tine buck were found about 20 feet apart in waist high CRP field.

Chris,
I'm thinking a trade here. I'll turn you onto the best elk shed hunting on the planet if you'll show me where to find white tail sheds. I'm too tired tonight but I'll PM you some photos tomorrow.

Chris,
Your a man after my own heart. That's a great collection of sheds! I wish I could figure out how to post pics 'cause I have a few shed pile pics I'd like to share. Nothing like that though! I'm with Rus... I've got a killer mule deer shed spot along with the same elk spot as cloride if you want to share info! Thanks for the pics. Chris

Sounds good guys, only one problem I live in Iowa and I doubt you want to travel over here to shed hunt, but if you ever make out this way I'd be more than happy to take you along! Where are you guys from?

Chris

Here are a few more as they lay photos from my Canadian shed hunt.
