On Feb. 20th I had a couple hours of free time and I went out on the West side of the range to hopefully find a couple nice rams. It was my first time back over there since the hunt ended three months ago. I looked over several miles of country but could only turn up about 30 ewes and very young rams. I made it back over to the East side of the mountain about an hour before dark and was able to spot 10 rams together. Most of them were young, the biggest (which I've named Scarface and had seen a few times during my hunt) was a low to mid 150 ram. It was fun to get out and see them again.

4 or 5 years from now should produce several class IV rams to choose from during the hunt.

Ridgetops,
Thanks for sharing your post-hunt "scouting" trip with us. Cool vid!
