A few fresh BC sheds

Heres a few pics i've been too lazy to post over the last few weeks. I also went out shed hunting to a new area yesterday and managed to pick up 7 fresh sheds, including some decent ones .
This is a buck Steve and I saw in early November, He must have really good genetics to be a 4x4 in his first year of growth.

Medium sized ram

A shed Steve found a couple weekends ago.

My only shed from that same weekend, a fresh 2 pointer.

Now to all my sheds from yesterday
The first:

Its match, found 10-15m away

The Set together with a 1.5l water bottle to give perspective

Just a little guy

Smallish 3 point

Then i took a quick look around for the match and spotted this about 20-30m away.

However, it wasnt the match.....

What a day. Those are great finds.
I've alsways wanted to find some sticking out of the snow but I have a hard enough time finding themwhen they're completely uncovered.

Kirk They is still a few on now but I havent seen any of the better bucks still holding them. I saw couple 1 horn forked horns just yesterday. I found 1 old one yesterday but no fresh ones. they are really spread out this year. no consentrations of deer at all. might be a long year to find many.

I've heard that there is some "significant" mule deer mortality going on in the Methow valley this year due to heavy snows.. Has anyone heard anything?
