I own the 65MM already and had the opportunity to use it alot this year. My question is, has anyone ever really had the opportunity to compare the low light differences side by side. Now I find alot of animals at 2-3miles plus, and it is my hypothesis that No amount of objective diameter would really be enough at 3 miles, in 15 degree weather, before the sun is lighting up the hillside to really field judge an animal, even the size of a mature elk. Before buying this scope I bought and then returned a Ziess Diascope T FL 85MM. I returned it due to the lack of edge clarity, but it didn't seem that it was lighting up the elk anymore before the sun rose over the mountain.
