I'm looking at various HD spotting scopes which I would use for both backcountry hunting and digiscoping. I have a decent 15-45 x 60 scope but have been pretty disappointed with it in low light (can't see jack beyond 20x). So I'm looking to get a nice HD scope.

In your experiences has 80 been a bit big for backpacking? I'm sure it would be nice in low light, but is it nice enough to go with the extra size?

Also what are some good scope that have camera adaptors? I've been looking at Swarovski, haven't seen adaptors for Leica or Zeiss yet.

Both Leica and Zeiss offer digital adapters for their scopes.
Yes, the 80/85mm scopes offer noticibly more light transmission therefore higher resolution, however, in a packing situation they are bulkier and slightly heavier.
Please feel free to give us a call to discuss it

If there is anything else that I can assist you with please let me know.
