6-18AO leupold info

I was thinking about buying a 6-18AO leupold scope for hunting and was wondering if anyone had any info about the scope. Is it difficult to adjust the AO to get it clear on the game at close or far distances. Would it be better to buy a 4-12-50 leupold. any info would be helpful thanks.

I have two vx2 6-18ao and have never had a problem. They are on hunting rifles.
