This was quite a find yesterday. Needless to say no antlers to be found.

Thats great! Take it to any bank and get a replacement, then give it to your daughter and not that local "watering hole". LOL

Kilo-guess what the bank in Big Piney said. After they looked up the number and seen it was'nt counterfit-they said it would take 6 to 8 weeks for the Feds replace it. WHAT A CROCK!! I just brought it back home for a souvenier.

That is a bunch of BS what they told you. If they were able to verify that the number is legal, then they should not have a problem with replacement.
Oh well, keep our eyes open you just might find more out there. Wonder why a 50 would be laying around like that, someone getting paid off for something??

Rich Roughnecks everywhere. At wages $25.00 to $35.00 per hour they got money to throw away!!

My teenage daughters think that money grows on trees now they will think that it grows on Wyoming sage brush too!!!

Time in the hills is always worth more than money

Thats weird. I found a 10 a couple weeks ago. I took it to the bank yesterday and they said that if it has the serial numbers and over a certain percentage(they wouldn't tell me what %) then they could swap it out right away. And they did.

Weird. I think I must be way too hard up for a good time- this just cracks me up. Or, I need to get outside more.

>Ewwww...after reading the "Toiletpaper or???" thread
>you STILL picked that up?
> LOL ;-)

Exactly what I was thinking... someone took a $50 crap in the woods ... either that or he's stumbled upon DB Coopers cache.

D.B. Cooper is exactly what I was thinking. I think I would return to the area and poke around a little.
I had a friend that guided a well to do man a few years ago. They got caught out in a bad snow storm overnight. Fifties and hundreds were used to get a fire going. Ouch!!!!!
