I think your bet is a safe one.
While the other answers are great ones they just can't top yours. IMHO
One question, who the hell puts all the boring shiite on TV anyways? Dumb azzez?
We moved about a month ago and put TV service and home phone on hold. I've never been happier! I might just shiz-can the whole media thing and get back to building gunstocks!

zeke, I think you're onto something. I know a few people who only down load movies and select TV programs through their X-Box or whatever. No television service at all.
