Been trying to figure out what to do this year. I'm starting to get tired of paying for points every year and am thinking of burning them this year. Any suggestions on where to apply on an area to find a 24"+ 150 class or better buck other than region G or H? Looking for a public land unguided hunt.

Take a look at the land status map. Been there -
plenty of BLM ground.

Most of the blm/state ground in 84 is land locked (checker board). The blm/state ground that isn't land locked will be a punkin patch and/or will be like the face off the moon when looking for deer.

What he said. The accessible BLM and state ground in 84 ain't on Atlantic Rim. Been there a few times myself.
