45 archery elk

I got lucky and had a land owner give me a land owner tag for 45 archery elk. I have not spent a lot of time in this unit mostly hunting chukar in the low land late in the year so any help would be greatly appreciated and what to expect on the size of bull's that come out of this area? Thanks

The one thing that isn't lacking in unit 45 is elk. You should have a great hunt and lots of opportunity. The landowner who gave you the tag should have some great elk hunting on their land since that is a big requirement for them to get tags(wink,wink). I would start on their land. Good luck to you.
