37a elk on second draw!!! Only 3 tags

I was lucky enough to draw the 37a elk tag on the second chance draw. I have hunted all around challis and 29 but never 37a. Im excited but nervous at the same time as i was all geared up for archery elk and now im going to a new unit with no time to scout. Should be interesting!!!

I also will be hunting a unit that I have never hunted. I haven't scouted it at all. When the elk start rutting, they move anyway. I just mark my truck on my GPS, turn it off, put it in my pack and go wherever the elk are.

I'm not one for telling my grandson how big of turd I had to pinch off from having to eat so much meat. I want to give him the antlers that hang from my wall and tell him the unforgettable experience that came with each and every one.
