36a-2 elk

Just wondered how unit 36a-2 bull elk hunt is anymore. I haven't been there for years. Is it still a good draw tag for bulls? Have the wolves really hammered it ? Wanted to get a little recent info on this unit if anyone has hunted it in the last year or so.

Wolves, yes. Elk, herd down, way down. Cow elk tags a fraction of years past to try and rebuild the numbers. Better shoot the first six point bull you see, if you see one. Have hunted late and early in season, early is better IMO. Many new road restrictions now in place also.
