358 STA for goat/moose/elk

I am thinking about buying a 358 STA for a mtn. goat/moose hunt this fall and I will also hunt elk with it every year. What is everyone's opinion of this caliber? I know it is too heavy for goat but I just want to carry one gun while in BC rather than one just for goat and one just for moose.

You ain't hunting that goat for meat. Besides, they can be tough.

You could get a 300 Win. Mag. I have the short mag and my goat did a complete barrel roll when I hit him! Its also strong enough for elk and moose.
