34 type 1 deer

I decided to put in for this unit instead of the usual 128 and was lucky enough to draw. I spent a lot of time in the unit last winter trapping and actually found several pretty good bucks wintering in there. By pretty good, I mean 165-170 type bucks. I was wondering if any of you have any opinions? Thanks in advance.

34 is a good tag to have and I think if you worked the area last winter you pretty well already know where to go and shoot one of those bucks on opening day! Good luck!!!

Thanks Topgun. I'm thinking most of the deer I was seeing are resident deer, going to go start glassing this weekend.

Yep, I don't believe many, if any, deer migrate out of that unit.
