I would appreciate some input from MM guys, decided to go hunt this year rather than continue to hold out for a 124 tag. I don't regret that call in the least, at this point anyway. Some of the input I received prior to my putting in for 32 was that there were tons of roads and lots of pressure from deer hunters. I see 50 tags from 9-1 til 10-15 ( need to look at cow tag #'s) I must be missing something as I see lots of area that is not covered in roads and the 200 deer hunters for unit 102 don't start till 10-15. Please tell me I'm not missing something big. Thx Jim

Congrats on your tag! It sounds like you are on the right track. There obviously could be archery deer hunters roaming around early. If you want to take full advantage of your tag you may want to archery hunt or possibly go a week or so early to scout. It looks like there could be an early cow archery season in Sept. Bulls ought to be bugling pretty good at that time but may shut up once the rifle season opens. It's relatively open country so ought to be fun spot and stalking!

Thanks Robb, don't know how I missed that thread last year but I did. I sent a PM to Paul . Thx

You will also have antelope hunters and recreators in general. I will send you a PM with more specific info.

Going through the learning curve, thx guys. HiMtn got your PM ? , I appreciate it. BigCheifJ, so the cow hunts start 10-1 ?

I believe the type 4 hunt is at the same time as the type 1.

Leaving Thursday For Wyoming ...... I'm pumped. Took 2 scouting trips ( @a week each) and covered most of the unit. Trail cams set at great water source that most likely will be maxed out with pics . Will start on east side of unit and see how it goes. Any words of wisdom from those in the know how this year looks in 32. Truth is I never saw a shooter bull in my 2 scouting trips but saw Lots of cows. My brother is joining me and we will enjoy and cherish this opportunity no matter if big bulls come our way or not . Appreciate any local updates .

Yes sir, that's the plan. I'll actually be camped in Colo and hunting the border initially . That's where I saw all the cows on my scouting trips . Love so much of the west side of the unit but I didn't see much in my scouting trips. If east side doesn't pan out I'll move west .
