31-1/public land camping around Casper?

Me and a buddy drew 31-1 antelope (by Casper)and are looking for somewhere we can camp. Most of the unit is private and we are not at all familiar with the area. Are we going to have a tough time finding somewhere to camp? Would we be better off finding a cheap motel?
Also, The hunt opens thursday sept 24th. We are going to hunt the Hat Six HMA. Do these HMA's get pounded with pressure?
The reason I ask is I would love to save my PTO for my later hunts and go up Friday instead. Any help would be appreciated.

Get ya a map and look it over. You can camp on BLM ground. Its not legal to camp on state ground. With all the private ground, rest assured the walk in area's will get pounded during the first couple of weekends...

you are real close to town at the walk in areas.

You can camp on Casper Mountain, which is about a 25 minute drive to the Hat Six area. The camping at Bear Trap Meadows(Casper Mnt)has running water and bathrooms, there is usaully plenty of camping spots open this time of year. The HMA on Hat Six gets hammered pretty hard, since a lot of the locals hunt close to home, but there are always antelope to be found.
