308 Marlin express

Has anybody had any experience with this rifle? I have a .444 and have used the leverrevolution ammo and was pretty impressed with it. I like the lever action rifles and was wondering if anyone had any info on this one. What is the range with the leverevolution ammo? I know what they claim on their website but wanted some real life info.

Chef is right about that web site to answer your questions. marlinowners.com will have the answer for any question concerning the Marlin rifles and ammo used in them.
I use a marlin 44 mag and 45/70 rifle for hunting, never have used the rifle-caliber you inquired about. but it should be a darn good woods guns for deer and even elk if you keep the shots around 200 yards and under.

Heres some info....Looks like its based on the 307win. 2660fps with a 160gr bullet. Better than a 30-30, but not quite the 308win.
