Hey everyone I have a carbon fiber barreled christensen arms 300 short mag. I was wanting to put a more tactical type of stock on my gun such as an AR-15 type stock. Would this be possible? If so would it have any negative side effects such as less accuracy? Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

since no one else was responding i will. My first question would be as to why you would want to do that. if you want a more tactical type stock just go buy a bushmaster AR and then your done. i would be careful about doing things like that on a 300 short mag as it may compromise the weapon as a whole. Then again bowhunter it may be pretty sweet to have a one of a kind gun like that. Find the horn Goose!

Might could make a stock from a Howa Axiom work, but not something I'd personally do.

Thanks for the input guys, I know it's something different but I just wanted something a little unique and I thought this would look cool. I am leaning towards the Howa Axiom but still not sure, thanks again.
