3 guns in checked bag?

Do any TSA or airline restrictions prohibit flying with 3 guns in 1 gun case? I have flown with 2 and I am considering 3 this time.

I've done three pistols before but haven't tried three rifles yet. It was a while ago maybe 8 years so not too sure if it hasn't changed yet.

3 guns (rifles, shotguns, pistols, etc) in 1 case is no problem as long as the case meets the TSA requirements of hard sided and fully locking so that the guns cannot be accessed without opening the locks first.

Thanks! I ended up only taking 2. At some point my gun case locking part broke - one "eye" had no idea until checking in at Jackson Hole. TSA let it go even though they could pry it apart. I got LUCKY.

The question is, if you have to fly back, will they let it go again?
