2022 Utah bear hunt & trailcams

So I should have a pretty decent shot at a Utah summer bear (bait) permit this year. With the new laws and rules regarding the use of trailcams, I’m looking for some answers. I have looked through the 2022 bear guide and it’s does mention new laws about the use of trailcams, but there is nothing specific as of now that I can find. Will the same rules apply to bears as with big game? Does anyone have insight about the do’s & don’ts of using trailcams over a properly registered bait sight leading up to and during the bear hunt? Using bait to lure bears to a specific place is the whole purpose of the summer (bait) hunt right? So why should I not be allowed to use a trailcam to keep track of bears hitting the bait? Thanks all for any insight.

The trail camera ban is for big game August through December.
