2022 Starting off good!

Well, 2022 is starting off good. I was able to take this nice little buck on the 2nd to last day of season. I was hopeful to catch a huge buck that we watched all summer on a piece of land that we had access to but, it just didn't happen and this buck fit the bill this close to the end of the season. It should be another eventful fall. Between the boy and I, we have 2 rifle cow elk tags (leaving tomorrow for that) I have a plains archery E/S deer tag and rifle whitetail doe, he has 2 rifle doe antelope tags, a plains rifle deer tag, a rifle whitetail doe tag. Stay tuned and hopefully we can share some of the adventures with all you guys!

Well the boys and I had a good weekend chasing elk. We were able to take a couple cows for the freezer. Wyatt made a great shot on this big cow Saturday evening and I took mine Sunday evening. My deer season opened Saturday, and I will be looking for a good one until rifle season opens and then I'll switch gears and try to find a good one for the boy. Stay tuned and hopefully we'll bring you some more of this years action.

I was able to put my archery tag on a good one, this year has been different in the fact that we just couldn't turn up a true giant. I am extremely tickled with this buck, he is my biggest archery deer to date!!

I try, this year was just kinda different. I just couldn't turn up a monster, but I am extremely happy with this guy!
