2012 season

I just thought I would share a few pics of my 2012 season. I was limited on time this year because of school but still managed to get out for a few days. I started in northern Montana on a DIY bear hunt, we did not see a ton of bears but it only took this one to fill my tag. The hunt was really fun, we hunted mainly on mt. bikes. It was surprising how stealthy and efficient they were. Awesome hunt with my family.

I also had a few days on the general archery in southern Utah, I was able to get it done on the 3rd day. Not the biggest buck but I was happy to fill my freezer with him. I also had my brother-in-law with me who had never hunted, now he is hooked!

No we didn't, we did pack it out and check it in to the game warden as regs specify. But there is to much risk for trichinosis for liking. Here is a link if you are curious on the disease. The warden didn't reccomend it either.
