2011 Gobbler

We spent 2 days hunting along the Yellowstone and brought home 2 decent birds,this AM I went out alone and filled my LE tag with a 23lb Gobbler,had 6 jakes molesting my decoy but this guy wouldn't budge so I made a sneak and arrowed him at 25 yards.

Nice job! Haven't made it out yet myself. Went to a 3D shoot on Saturday instead. Hope to get out Wed morning. One of these years I'm going to head to Sidney and hunt em on the Yellowstone.

Lots of birds out there,problem is that 90% of them are living in some tree huggers yard eating corn with the deer,I guess the F&G turns a blind eye to wildlife feeding out there because its rampant.
