2009 Shed Set Mounted on Real Skull

Here he is mounted on a real skull. I'm really happy with the way he turned out. The Camo background really brings out the white skull. Now to find him during hunting season...
How old of a buck do you think he is? Gross Shed Score? Done Growing Yet?

High 170's. Very hard to say on the other questions by just looking at the antlers. One thing you might do to the mount is use some Apoxy Sculpt in white (available at taxidery supply) to match the pedicals to the base size of the antlers. The two-part substance, once mixed, can be shaped and sanded around the pedical and hardens very solid. I did this with one of mine where the bases did not match the size of the skull and it turned out well.

Took a second look, and the sheds may not be as big as I thought......-10" = high 160's.

The pics don't do it justice. He is as big as you thought. I'll end the suspense. His Gross, not net was 187. The net score was bad. If I can figure out how to scan the score paper onto the computer, I'll put it up.
It is hard to tell just how big some sheds are. One shed non typical set didn't look as big as they had said.. until I saw a pic of the sheds up next to a mounted deer.
Its fun to guess either way.
