I had to cheat and trade for the one side of this one but it was worth it. I saw him a few tmes but always to far off and too dark to get any pisscutter pics of him. I heard fairly early that the other half had been found so I had to play "let's make a deal" to match him up.

Thats a beautiful set, and I don't consider it cheating at all. Of course its always better to find both sides because it sucks giving up bone for bone. I first try buying matches, before making a trade. Enjoy the set with a clear conscious.

If not for the cheater, a perfectly symmetrical matching set. You did very well to get the matching side. Any plans on mounting them?

get us some pictures of you holding them up please. nice set and that makes me drool, nothing like a typical mule deer. Good job getting the other side even though it was hard trading congrats. Find the horn Goose!

That's a great find!

It looks like you've had a good season....congrats!

I hope all has been well.

It has been a good year - arent' they all?? Any time out in the outdoors is time well spent. This year was still good after the @$%& DOW chased them down and whacked off their horns on some of the best deer.

There were still 4 really good bucks I wanted very much to find. One fella got 2-1/2 of them which left the rest of us scrambling for leftovers. I felt lucky to get a set out of the 4 considering how stiff the competition is these days. Sitting at about 130 fresh for the ytd, and am chasing elk now so the deer will have to just sit there bleaching till next yr. Any time you break the 200 mark what's to complain about? (except I didn't get the thrill of picking up the righty!)
